Legacy art-style is very important to me but this color issue is so inconsistent. This repository contains tools and guides relevant to modding Diablo 2 Resurrected. Please let me know if there’s any way to change this. If I could show screenshots, that would help. It’s frustrating as well because we can’t post links here… but how can I show my screenshots of what I’m talking about? For example, most monsters are fine, the HUD is fine, majority of inventory art is fine, although in inventory, my sunders look really messed up in legacy mode (the colors are off or barely visible - even I have two cold sunders, one monster and one eye graphic, they are a different blue between them and I have a lightning eye one that isn’t even yellow, it looks like someone took an eraser to the charm, yet normal charms look perfectly fine). It’s odd because not ALL colors are off, just some. Or in my armor slot, if I equip a red/orange armor, the color is barely there also. Even for example a plain bone visage is supposed to be white but for me, it’s dark grey when worn in legacy. On other people’s screenshots, both helms are the same color (as in blue bone helm and blue great helm would have the same color) and are very vibrant. When I tried on a blue bone visage, it was a very matte deep blue.

This glitter effect was the same on a blue night wings. There is even disparity between color bugs, for example a red bone visage appears a very dark matte red when worn, whereas a red great helm looks metallic and reflective with a tint of red when worn (looks like glitter, kind of flashing grey and red specks). someone else’s to show how my char looks completely different than theirs (color-wise) yet we have the same exact gear. I can do side-by-side comparisons of my own screenshots vs. But the weird thing is, all the colors are not off, my legacy mode looks nearly identical to others except for these cosmetic items. (how items appear on the character model AND to a lesser degree, certain items in inventory). The color palette looks normal for almost everything but when I equip items with cosmetic effects, the results are definitely different than intended. For other games, for normal d2r mode, and even most of legacy mode, things look normal. But then I saw other people’s screenshots of legacy mode in d2r and I don’t know why mine is so different. At first I thought I had just remembered colors incorrectly.
